| At the Wild Pacific Trail, there is a CHANNEL LIGHT and WHISTLE BUOY whose sound is activated by the motion of the ocean. They buoy is loudest in rough seas, providing safe channel past reefs especially when fog and waves roll in. Below is a picture of a WHISTLE BUOY. |
VIDEO I tried to get a video of the sound of the whistle buoy but it was difficult. I could hear the buoy at my cabin 1km away.
